Why did Allah change the Qibla?
Hatun and Daniel examine Sura 2:142-150 where Allah changed the qibla – the direction of Islamic prayer – from Jerusalem to the Al-Masjid-al-haram. But why? Where is Al-Masjid-al-haram? Is there any evidence that it was in Mecca? Why would Allah choose the Kaba, in Mecca, home of 360 idols?
