Godwin questions a Muslim on his claim that Bible is corrupted , when in fact the Qur'an claims to confirm the Bible.
He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. aforetime, as a guidance to mankind, And He sent down the criterion. Truly, those who disbelieve in the Ayat of Allah, for them there is a severe torment; and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Able of Retribution. (s3:3-4)
Let the People of the Gospel judge by that which Allah hath revealed therein. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are evil-livers. Thus, the Qur'an sees itself as the guardian of the message of all scripture: To thee We sent the scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety (s5:47-48)
