Khalid Baqa, a convicted jihadist terrorist who served four years for preparing jihadi propaganda, is now suing a British pub, the Saracen’s Head Inn, claiming its sign is racist and incites violence. Baqa argues that the pub’s name and sign, depicting a bearded figure traditionally associated with Saracens (a historical term for Arabs or Muslims during the Crusades), is offensive and discriminatory. He’s seeking more than £1,000 in damages.
