It is not their ears that were shut, but hearts.
On Sallu, Allah says to Moses, “Tell them”, but if Christian apologists insist on refusing to hear what we “tell them” as the answer, which is “My Mercy should precede My Anger”, so it is not their ears that were shut, but hearts.
The same old question has been once asked by the Jews, and Allah has answered it via Moses. Sallu of Allah is different and incomparable to any creation’s Sallu. Allah’s Sallu is not a praying, it is a “statement” of Mercy, not as act of imploring to.
Ibn Asakir, Ahadith Al-Qudsiyyah, Hadith 216:
The Israelites said to Musa: Does your Lord do salli? Musa said: Fear Allah, O sons of Israel. Allah said: O Musa, What did your people say? Musa said: O my Lord, You already know, they said: Does your Lord do salli? Allah said: Tell them My salli for My servants is that My Mercy should precede My Anger. If it were not so, I would have destroyed them.
If Christian apologists keep stubbornly asking a same old boring question over and over, like silly parrots, thus they are uneducated childish folks apparently. A fool may ask more questions in an hour than a wise man can answer in seven years.
“Pray” can be used in hyperbolic sense as the act of non-worship, and literally as a worship.
(i) Using the hyperbolic “Pray” as non-worship:
Num 16:8
And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
Num 20:17
Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king’s high way.
(ii) Jehovah uses the hyperbolic pray to inhabitants of Jerusalem and Judeans:
Mal 1:9
And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
Isa 5
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
(iii) Literally the Praying as worship:
Neh 1:11
O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.
1Chr 21:17
I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued.
2Ki 6:17
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man;
(iv) Angel uses a hyperbolic pray to Manoah’s wife:
Jud 13
3 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.4 Now therefore beware, *I pray thee*, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:
I think your examples are pretty good and that in each example, the word “beg” could have been substituted for “prey” and conveyed the meaning faithfully. Still it looks like Allah is begging someone for something. So, is this a problem only for English translations? Should all of the English versions be collected and burned so that perfect translations can be printed?
There’s a subtle way John uses in the Book of Revelation that shows how Jesus is not God: Angel whom Jesus sent as his emissary or agent refuses to receive a worship from John.
Angel represents Jesus when coming to John, he doesn’t come to represent God.
Rev 19:10
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am (Jesus or angel who represents him) thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Rev 22:9
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am (Jesus or angel who represents him) thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
But when angels come down as God’s agents, they receive a worship:
Gen 19:1
And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
Lk 24
4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
The use of hyperbole by Jehovah: divine confession to men.
Job 40
9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?14 Then will *I also confess* unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

In Hadith we also have a kind of hyperbolic style of speech.
Muslim Book 37, Hadith 6621
Abu Ayyub Ansari reported that Allah’s Messenger said: If you were not to commit sins, Allah would have swept you out of existence and would have replaced you by another people who have committed sin, and then asked forgiveness from Allah, and He would have granted them pardon.
Gospel mentions a very unscientific statement on the conception and birth: certain baby may be born without having a sexual organ from the womb, i.e. eunuch from birth. This is false. At least, a baby must own a female private organ:
Mt 19:12
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake.
Accuracy of Jesus’ birth in Qur’an shows a common fact of all human’s conception that Jesus was once nonliving person in the womb:
According to Q.66, v.12, inside Mary’s womb Jesus was “not yet alive” before, until on certain day (namely day of 40th) God sends him a breath to start living, just like other babies:
Q.21, v.91. She who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her from Our Spirit, and We made her and her son a Sign for all people.
Q.66, v.12. And Mary the daughter of ‘Imran, who guarded her chastity and We breathed into him (Jesus) from Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His revelations, and was one of the devout ones.
Muslim Book 33, Hadith 6390.
Abdullah (b. Mas’ud) reported that Allah’s Messenger who is the most truthful (of the human beings) and his being truthful (is a fact) said: Verily your creation is on this wise. The constituents of one of you are collected for forty days in his mother’s womb in the form of blood, after which it becomes a clot of blood in another period of forty days. Then it becomes a lump of flesh and forty days later Allah sends His angel to it with instructions concerning four things, so the angel writes down his livelihood, his death, his deeds, his fortune and misfortune.
I hope your not implying that the hadith that states the development of a child is an accurate one. Because that is completely false. And as for the verse about the enoch that is not meant as a literal eunich lol. I mean are you serious with this stuff? It’s like your brains turn off. And you use confirmation bias. You give your doctrine the overwhelming benefit of the doubt but when you look at others you cant even see it objectively or how nearly any other person would grasp it.
